Last Thursday, it was such a honour to be introduced officially as The Ojas Centre and to perform at a Refugees Family Special Event!! It was indeed amazing to take part of something so meaningful!! It was a full house, there was yummy food, positive energy and rays of smiles originally from all around the world from Honduras, Uganda to Afghanistan...
It was officially our first Dance performance, and I can’t wait to share the pics and videos with you. Thank you so much to our Warrior Dancers for their dedicated and wholehearted rehearsal and performance, so PROUD of you!!
And also thank you to everybody who took part of this project; your positive energy was deeply appreciated!
The next Dance project is delivered in a six- week structured course. This Winter Term, we will be exploring a fusion of Belly Dancing and Afro Dance on an Afghan song from Elaha Soroor. For more information and to register to the 6- week Afro Dance Fusion course, click here
Wishing you all joyous and peaceful holidays and I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!! 🤍🕊🙏🏾✨
And don't forget to RISE UP!!
